- Cost of permit is $113 regardless of job valuation ($90 plus a $23 processing fee).
Requirements
Only a state-licensed HVAC contractor may obtain a permit for mechanical repairs for a non-residential (commercial) project. No exceptions.
This permit is to be obtained when no General Contractor is on the job. If a General Contractor has been issued a construction permit, the HVAC contractor may contact our office at 972-205-2300 to validate the permit assuming that they are already registered with the City.
