Downtown Square Redevelopment

This project will redesign the Downtown Square to create a larger, more functional and inviting public space. The project will include evaluation of design concepts such as replacement of the large reflecting pool with a central fountain, raising the grade of the Plaza to street level, and creating a more flexible and functional space for large gatherings as well as individual activity.

This project is a component of the Downtown Redevelopment Implementation Plan and will be implemented in conjunction with the Downtown Streetscape and Transit-Oriented Connectivity Projects, and with public/private redevelopment efforts. For more information on this project, contact the Planning and Community Development Department at 972-205-2445.
